YOGA WITH NINA

Frequently Asked Questions

I am a beginner. Do you offer classes for beginners?

Yes, absolutely! Beginners make up the majority of my yoga clients. Yoga is an inclusive practice for anyone, whether you are 8 or 80 years old.

What should I wear to a yoga class?

Loose comfortable clothing. Women tend to wear a sports t-shirt or vest with loose trousers or leggings. Men often prefer to wear shorts. You are likely to get warm, so it's best to wear layers that you can take off if you get too hot. It's nice to bring a jumper with to wear for final relaxation (savasana). We don't wear socks while practicing yoga because your feet won't grip to the mat.

Do I need to bring any of my own props or yoga mat?

I have a selection of yoga mats, blocks, straps and even lavender eye pillows you can use. If you prefer to use your own yoga mat, feel free.

How long are the classes?

A typical class is 60 minutes.

Can you come to my house/holiday apartment?

Yes, I am able to come and teach privately in your own home or apartment. I will provide all of the equipment including mats, blocks, straps and lavender eye pillows.

What if I don't have enough space in my house/apartment?

No problem. I can organise teaching space for us to hold the class. Please let me know when booking the lesson.

Can I pay with credit card?

Sorry, I don't have credit card facility, so I only accept cash, bank transfer, PayPal or Monzo transfer.

What if I need to cancel my class?

No problem. Just send me an email cancelling the class as soon as possible. If a class is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, then 50% of the cost of the class will still be charged.
